The Mount Olive Baptist Church Federal Credit Union
received its Federal Charter October 21, 1997. The first
share account was opened January 11, 1999 by our Senior
Pastor, Rev. N. L. Robinson. We thank God for
giving him the vision.
Mount Olive Baptist Church Federal Credit Union
continues to live the credit union mission to provide
excellent service to you, our members. The Board
of Directors remain committed to providing products and
services which will help improve the standard of living
and teach you how to be better financial stewards.
The Mount Olive Baptist Church Federal Credit Union
(MOBC FCU) is about people helping people. Unlike
traditional banks or savings & loans, credit unions
are not-for -profit organizations and we are a faith
based financial institution that provide people with a
common bond and an opportunity to assist one another.
The strength of the Credit Union is based upon the
desire of the church body to help it's members meet
their financial objectives and provide the needed
services at a reasonable cost. Because the members of
the Credit Union are share holders the success of the
Credit Union has a direct positive impact upon it's
members share accounts.
Our mission is to provide this service for our members
in compliance with the National Credit Union
Administration Guidelines. This is done while
maintaining the truly Christian spirit of 'people
helping people' in every aspect of the daily operations
of the Credit Union. Through share accounts and a
variety of loan vehicles, we offer competitive rates and
attempt to serve our members' financial needs while
keeping those members foremost in our policies and
procedures.
